Those who run it come to know it so closely that it grows harder to see it as someone arriving for the first time. A guest experience review gives back that first view—from the first visit to the website to the goodbye.

We stay at your property as an anonymous guest, booked in our own names, and move through every stage of the guest journey—from pre-arrival communication to departure—observe, and share what is working will and where the guest experience may have drifted from what guests are promised.
We assess both the tangible (standards, procedures, timing, cleanliness, communication) and the intangible (tone, presence, atmosphere, warmth) across departments, and whether the stay still reflects the concept the hotel was built on. The result is a detailed yet human report that reveals how your guests truly experience your property. It comes at a moment the owner chooses: before a new season, or a few years after opening, when the question is whether the property still says what it set out to say.
Start with a conversation
Through complete anonymity, we move through the guest journey like any guest would—but with trained eyes and decades of boutique hospitality experience—and translate it into insight that helps hotels refine their guest experience.
Each review is composed around the property it reviews. In a first conversation we agree how long the stay should be, and develop a scenario tailored to your key evaluation priorities. We also agree which parts of the property the stay should take in, and where the attention should gather. Within a week of departure, we present our findings to you, in person or by call.
We review independent boutique and luxury hotels, resorts and lodges, for owners and general managers who would like to see their property from the outside.
Limited to a few stays per quarter. Every stay is booked and taken anonymously. Your property is never named, and only you decide who knows we came.
